Injectable carboxytherapy of the scalp
Injectable carboxytherapy of the scalp is a minimally invasive procedure in which medical carbon dioxide (CO₂) is injected into the scalp dermis to stimulate blood circulation, oxygenation, and tissue regeneration.
Indications
• Hair thinning and reduced density, early stages of alopecia
• Slowed hair growth and increased hair loss

Procedure/ Treatment
- Cleaning and disinfecting the scalp
- Marking treatment areas
- Injection of medical CO₂ into the dermis using a specialized carboxytherapy device
- Performed gradually according to clinical protocol to cover all affected area
- 20–40 minutes per session
- Intensive course: 6–10 sessions, 1–2 per week
- Maintenance course: 1 session every 3–4 weeks
Contraindications
- Active infections on the scalp
- Severe bleeding disorders or strong anticoagulants
- Hypersensitivity to CO₂

Recovery / Restrictions
• Temporary redness, warmth, or tingling sensations may occur at the injection sites
• Mild soreness or scalp sensitivity may persist for up to 24 hours
• Sauna, steam rooms, and hot baths should be avoided for 24–48 hours
• Avoid intense physical activity during the first 24 hours
• Do not use aggressive or irritating scalp products for 2–3 days
• Avoid scalp massage in the treated areas for 24 hours
