Pregătirea:
Wear comfortable, loose clothing that allows easy access to the painful or affected area (eg knee shorts, shoulder t-shirt, etc. ). Avoid shoes that are difficult to remove, tights or tight clothing. Bring with you: previous investigations (x-rays, MRI, CT, ultrasounds, blood tests); medical reports, discharge tickets or treatments followed; the list of medicines you are currently taking. If it is a control consultation, bring the documents from the previous visit as well. It is not necessary to stop your current treatments, unless your doctor has advised you otherwise. Tell your doctor about any anti-inflammatory drugs, anticoagulants or natural supplements you are using. You can consume food and liquids normally before the consultation, except in cases where an intervention or infiltration is scheduled — you will be informed in this case. Wear your usual shoes (or orthopedic shoes, if you use them). If you have orthotics, cane, walker, bring them with you. For knee, hip or back pain, it is also helpful to bring short videos of how you walk or move (if recommended). For children: Make sure the little one is rested and fed lightly before the consultation. Bring the vaccination record and any previous orthopedic investigations.
