Therapeutic Massage

Therapeutic full-body massage is a procedure used to address specific health issues or to help reduce muscle pain, chronic fatigue, dermatological and hematological conditions, and to assist in eliminating toxins from the body.
This massage involves the legs, buttocks, back, arms, chest, and abdomen.

Indications for Therapeutic Full-Body Massage:

• Chronic fatigue syndrome
• Muscle pain and spasms
• Edema
• Venous stasis in the legs, pelvic area, and other regions
• Headaches and cervical pain in sedentary individuals (ideal for people working at a computer)
• Frequent colds and general weakness (recommended as a natural immune therapy)
• Excess body weight – intensive treatment of problem areas helps reduce volume and improves skin elasticity
• Osteochondrosis

Massage is not a harmless procedure and comes with absolute and relative contraindications.

Absolute Contraindications:

• Oncological diseases
• Gangrene
• Atherosclerosis of peripheral vessels
• Acute myocardial conditions
• Pulmonary edema
• Chronic liver or kidney diseases
• Severe mental disorders
• Hemorrhages
• Tuberculosis

Relative Contraindications:

• Fever
• Dermatological and infectious skin diseases (fungal or bacterial)
• Viral respiratory infections
• Inflamed lymph nodes
• Pregnancy
• Menstrual period
• Nausea or vomiting
• Alcohol or drug intoxication
• Hypo- or hypertensive crisis

Duration: 60 minutes

* To maintain muscle tone and support the immune system, specialists recommend performing the massage twice per week. Some patients prefer to undergo 10 consecutive sessions every 6 months.

The therapeutic full-body massage uses techniques from medical massage, classic Swedish massage, and relaxation massage.

• Before the session: It is recommended that the patient takes a shower and removes any jewelry (necklaces, earrings, etc.) that may interfere with the massage techniques.
