Trichoscopy of the scalp and hair is a visual method for examining the condition of the hair and scalp using an optical or handheld microscope. The procedure allows assessment of hair density, thickness, and condition, detection of signs of hair loss or damage, and evaluation of scalp health (dryness, oiliness, dandruff). This method helps the doctor provide individualized recommendations for hair care and treatment, but images are not saved, and analysis is done visually.

Procedure

Contraindications
- Acute inflammatory processes of the scalp
