Infectious Diseases
Infectious diseases is the branch of medicine that deals with the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. These include respiratory infections, intestinal infections, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections, as well as acute and chronic systemic infections. The primary goal of the specialist is to promptly identify the causative agent, assess the extent of organ involvement, and provide effective treatment to prevent complications.

- managing patients with acute and chronic liver infections;
- monitoring liver function and assessing the degree of organ damage;
- selecting and adjusting antiviral therapy;
- overseeing patients with chronic infectious diseases;
- preventing complications and monitoring conditions such as cirrhosis;
